Founded in 1881 by Midwest utility managers intent on eliminating water-borne diseases, the nonprofit American Water Works Association (AWWA) develops internationally recognized standards and practice manuals for public health, lobbies Washington, provides continuing education for 50,000 members, and holds an annual trade show and conference.
It’s called ACE (don’t ask me what that stands for), and I go because I always learn something. This year, I’d like to see the show through a reader’s eyes.
No agenda. Just want to tag along to see what a public utility manager and/or operator is interested in seeing and/or learning and why.
