Study analyzes surface transportation allocations
The largest 85 metropolitan areas will receive less than half of the $19 billion made available by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 even though they represent 73% of the nation’s gross domestic product and 63% of its population, according to the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
