The American Public Works Association (APWA) announced those that received their Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP) certification, which is for professionals who supervise, manage, oversee, or administer fleet services. The CPFP promotes excellence in fleet management which it does through the advancement of the knowledge and practice of public fleet professionals, allowing them to better serve their communities with quality fleet services.
Recently the program added two new policies: certified professionals must be re-certified every 5 years with 20 units of professional development and a new eleigibility requirement that allows individuals with private fleet experience to earn a CPFP certification. A total of 100 U.S. and Canadian fleet professionals have received their CPCP certification since the programs inception, here are some of the most recent certified professionals:
