Lovely loo lands clean potty prize

The tidiest toilets in America, according to a recent online poll, stand in a Fairfield, Ohio, grocery store. The johns at Jungle Jim's International Market are jungle-themed restrooms, festooned with flowers, marble, and tropical pictures. Runners up include the facilities at a fancy restaurant in Flushing, Mich.

Texas sinkhole is holy terror

A Tyler minister nearly got to meet the Lord in person a little earlier than expected when his car took a nosedive into a huge sinkhole. Said sinkhole, which measured 12 feet wide and 6 feet deep, claimed the front end of Rev. Ralph Massey's auto, but he was able to scramble out of the hole uninjured.

The kids are alright for clearing weeds

Enterprising goat ranchers in Washington are lending their herds to government agencies and private landowners. Hooved beasts from Rent-A-Ruminant and other services make quick work of tenacious weeds and other unwanted foliage, and they're more affordable than human laborers or big machines.
