The city of Delphos, Ohio, is constructing a new wastewater treatment plant, expected to cost $30 million. The plant's design will feature an innovative membrane bioreactor system, which will include 52,000 individual filtering membranes to process up to 12 mgd of sewage. Upon completion of the plant, projected to be in the fall of 2006, the previous plant's site will become part of the city's parks and recreation department for further development.
