Three new Class 8 LNG trucksNext year, models 387, 386, and 367 will be available in factory-installed LNG configurations, complementing the company's model 320 CNG truck. The Cummins ISX G diesel engine is adapted to natural gas using Westport Innovation's LNG fuel system, which includes fuel tanks, injectors, cryogenic pumps, and related electronic components. Available with 400-hp and 450-hp ratings and up to 1,750 ft.-lbs. torque, the engine provides the same horsepower, torque, and efficiency as the base diesel engine.
