Ninyo & Moore performed a design geotechnical evaluation, a pre-demolition asbestos survey, and quality assurance grading observation and materials testing services for the Freedom Park Renovations project in Las Vegas, Nevada. The project included demolition of an existing concession and restroom building and design and construction/renovation of eight ball fields, a 2,000 square-foot maintenance building, outfield replica walls up to 35 feet high, security lighting, a 27,000 square-foot metal structure pavilion building for housing a soccer field, and concession and restroom buildings. On-site paved parking and access areas along with improvements to neighboring roadways were also part of the project. The project is estimated for completion in late 2009, with an approximate project cost of $46 million.
