Automatic flood-warning system

The Model 3480 sends employees an e-mail, text message, or page when water reaches predetermined levels while alerting drivers to potential flooding by activating flashing beacons, barrier gate operators, or flood sirens via ALERT/IFLOWS networks, spread spectrum radio, cellular modem, Ethernet, or other communications technology. The unit's controller serves as a remote unit so customers can activate the system from user-set sensor levels at a master data-collection site or from a base station monitored and controlled by Windows-platform software. Typical installation includes mounting pole; two 12-in.-diameter yellow LED beacon signals; 50 W solar panel; battery; lightning protection; 3dB omnidirectional antenna, and hardware necessary to attach a 48-in. warning sign. High Sierra Electronics Inc. www.highsierraelectronics.com. Booth 2128.

Turnkey geo-spatial imaging

Integrate StreetScape Map Service into any GIS application to get a high-resolution digital picture of any aboveground asset. Images of particular locations - such as roads with high traffic volumes - can be scheduled for capture based on the required frequency. iLOOKabout Inc. www.ilookabout.com. Booth 1540.

Sustainability software
