The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will award $2 million to test and evaluate highway technologies that are ready for implementation to improve work zone safety, reduce congestion due to road construction, and improve and accelerate construction.

For-profit, private companies, and industries, and nonprofit domestic and international organizations can apply. FHWA encourages partnership with state and local governments and academic institutions.
