The American Road & Transportation Builders Association Transportation Development Foundation and National Safety Council have recognized a group of public and private transportation groups for their commitment to safety at the 5th annual Roadway Work Zone Safety Awareness Awards.
Presented during the September Intertraffic North America Trade Show and Convention in Baltimore, the awards recognize outstanding efforts to help reduce roadway work-zone construction accidents, injuries, and fatalities. An independent panel of judges reviewed the entries and selected the winners, which include:
