APAC-Missouri Inc., Columbia, has received a 2004 Quality in Construction award for excellence in construction of its overlay of Route 63 in Boone County. The company used milling rather than saw cutting for the removal of concrete, saving the state thousands of dollars and shortening the time the traveling public was inconvenienced.
The National Asphalt Pavement Association recognized dozens of other asphalt projects across the United States. For a complete list of winners or more information about the award, visit www.hotmix.org.
