Aclima, Inc. earlier this year announced its new partnership Google Earth Outreach. The San-Francisco-based company creates and deployed environmental sensor networks and will work with Google Earth Outreach “to map and better understand urban air quality.” The partnership will equip Google Street View cars with Aclima’s sensory technology to see what the air quality around us is.

In tests, 3 Street View cars for a month took measurements in Denver, Col. of nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide, ozone, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, black carbon, particulate matter, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)S which can all affect people's health and global climate change.
