Five readers let me tag along as they walked the American Water Works Association and American Public Works Association trade show floors. Meeting them and watching as they grilled exhibitors about products and services was one of the smartest things I’ve done during my tenure at Public Works. (If you didn’t see my Aug. 31 Facebook post, check out https://www.facebook.com/publicworksmag/.)
I hope to repeat this enlightening process at the Water Environment Federation’s show Sept. 24 through 28.
Be it sewage, tap water, or rain, water is the most complicated topic I cover as Public Works editor. WEFTEC (for Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference) is the largest conference in North America for men, women, and companies in the wastewater and stormwater industries.
Between the technologies and the regulations, my head’s spinning by the end of the day.
I hope you’ll help me untangle the mess by spending some time with me next week. E-mail email@example.com.
