According to the Siberian Times the president of the Russian Railways, Vladimir Yakunin, wants to build a massive trans-Siberian highway. This proposed plan would connect Russia’s eastern border with the state of Alaska through the Bering Strait. If built, it would allow for U.S. citizens to travel, by car, all across Europe. 

While the report didn’t offer any specifics, it would be a unique transnational endeavor.
