For the 18th consecutive year, the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA/Agency) has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual (FY 2014/2015) financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

IEUA's CAFR proved to meet the high standards set by the GFOA by demonstrating a constructive 'spirit of transparency and full disclosure' to clearly communicate IEUA's financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the CAFR.

"IEUA's Board of Directors is proud of the Agency for attaining this award for the 18th consecutive year. The Agency always strives to produce a document that displays transparency with a comprehensive understanding of the Agency's financial process," stated IEUA Board President Terry Catlin. "This award recognition is due to the hard work and dedication of our Finance and Accounting team and all of the staff members who contributed to preparing the document."
