Four companies are currently competing for Georgia’s most important road contract to date. The project would redesign and reconstruct the I-285/Georgia 400 interchange. The project is slated to cost about $1.1 billion dollars. The project aims to reduce congestion and increase safety for drivers on the road.
The four companies vying for the project are: AWH Roadbuilders, LLC; Dragados-Flatiron-Prince JV; North Perimetere Contractors; and Skanska/Balfour Beaty, Joint Venture.
To determine which company will be awarded the project, the Georgia Department of Transportation staff will receive the proposals while it hols a public review and commenting period for each proposal.
